Ms Amanda & Ms Deb's Class - Toddler 2
We finally made it to the end of the year, and I feel like it has flown by! We had many changes this year, and I am so proud of our children and our team here at Ivy Academy Downtown. We have stuck together like family and have smiled and laughed through uncertain times, but we all made it together!
For this past month we have focused on the season of Fall, and we watched as all our leaves on our playground trees have turned beautiful colors and fell to the ground. We have had lots of conversations outside about why the leaves change and why we have to wear our shoes and jackets outside now (a battle we have every day!). We have had lots of fun painting with fall colors and doing nature collages with the leaves we have found outside. We also hand-painted turkeys for Thanksgiving and decided that eating is a favorite thing to do in our class!
For the upcoming month of December we will be celebrating Winter/Holidays. We have lots of fun activities planned like making our own Christmas Trees and Christmas decorations! We have a bunch of holiday themed books in our classroom that will be out for everyone to enjoy. We will also be having a Christmas felt tree put on the wall and felt decorations so the children can decorate their own Christmas tree for our Classroom!
We are very excited and hope everyone enjoys the holidays with their family and friends!
