Family Child Care Home 2 - Owasso

We are very excited to be back in the classroom! It was a very long break, but we hope everyone enjoyed the large amount of family time. We are still patiently waiting for the days where all our friends are back so we can all play together again!

In the two weeks that we’ve been back, we have been focusing on our feelings and emotions; it can be hard to readjust to what we had before. The children’s favorite book currently is My Many-Colored Days by Dr. Seuss. This book uses paintings to match the feelings we experience. We’re also learning about which colors help us express our emotions. We’ve learned about yellow (happy) and blue (sad) so far. We will be continuing to learn more about the other colors and what feelings they express.
