Ms Amanda's Class—Toddler 1

Welcome, April!

Last month was a lot of fun as we learned about colors and patterns! We read lots of books that talked about different colors, and we accomplished several art projects that included rainbow colors! We also really enjoyed our rainbow colored rice in our sensory table; it really sparked conversations with our children which is great! We also read several book such as Green Eggs and Ham and Polar Bear Polar Bear What do you Hear? that really built up scaffolding skills of remembering patterns.

This month's focus will be a broad spectrum on Bunnies, Easter, and Spring! We have a wide range of books available to read, such as Llama Llama Easter Egg, Easter Bunny’s on his Way, Spring, and Rain. Between the ages of one and three, our children start to make connections about their social concepts and environments and about different seasons and holidays that help children with social awareness and help them discover the world around them. Some of the activities we have planned are an egg hunt, egg painting, flower painting, and rain paintings! We also will be making cloud dough and putting it in the sensory table to play with. We are going to have so much fun with all of our activities!

Have a wonderful day, and we will see you next month!
