Ms Amanda's Class—Toddler 1

Hello, March!

This month our focus will be learning about colors and patterns. I thought March would be a fun time to talk about colors because it is usually associated with Rainbows. Talking about colors gives our children more vocabulary and builds on their language skills. Patterns are fun to learn too, and they teach early math skills. It can help children learn routines easier, too!

Some fun activities I have planned are painting rainbows, playing with rainbow colored rice, rainbow marble art, and reading different books that reinforce colors and patterns, such as My Many Colored Days, One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish, and Green Eggs and Ham by Dr. Seuss and Put Me in the Zoo by Robert Lopshire! It will be a super fun month; and if the weather warms up, we will do some of these activities outside!

Have a great month!

Ms. Amanda and Ms. Priscilla
