Ms Anita's Class - Toddler 1

In the month of March, our focus will be learning our five senses. Our senses help us navigate through life and understand what is happening around us. We will be doing this by offering activities that encourage our children to use their five senses - touching different textures when making our own playdough, tasting new foods and flavors, seeing differences and observing surroundings, hearing nature during outdoor play, and smelling new scents!

One of the activities that we will be doing is putting different smells in tubes and letting the child smell what’s in the tube. We will be asking questions about what they smell. We would like for parents and guardians to come and join us as we do this activity. Please let me know if you would like to participate with us.

Don’t forget on Fridays to check your cubbies for fun activities to do at home to better understand our monthly focus. Also, be watching for signup sheets for parent teacher conferences during the week of March 9th.
