Ms Anita's Class - Toddler 3

In the month of November, we will be focusing on the changes in the weather. In doing this we will have open ended conversations about the seasons. In class we have a song that we sing called “The Weather Song.” This song helps the children visualize all the changes in the weather and helps them identify those patterns. At the end of our song, we discuss what the weather is like each day. This helps them have a better understanding geared towards science.

As always, we will have sensory play. One of the activities that we will be doing is throwing the leaves in the sky and watching them blow away. While doing this we will be boosting the children’s language by helping them explain what it is that they feel or see.

We encourage you to come and visit, sit down and enjoy a meal with your child, or just come in and read with the class.

I will soon be sending home some fun little activities for you to do with your child that will cost little to no money and that will help further your child’s learning.
