Welcome, new families and friends! We are so excited to have you as a part of our class!

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for allowing me the opportunity to teach, encourage, influence, guide, and inspire your children. August has been a hard month for me, having to say goodbye to all the children that went off to school. For those of you that have children that are spending another amazing year with me, your children have been wonderful in accepting the change and embracing our new friends. I’m very proud of their ability to adapt to our new class friends.

For the month of September, we are going to focus on strengthening and perusing some new skills. Some of those skills include things like Mathematics, creative, language, science, social and personal, social studies, and health, safety and physical development. Each week I will choose a new skill and apply it through play and the activities I have planned for our class. Every child is an active learner. They analyze and experiment with theory in the world through play and hands-on activities. Children show individual distinction in ways of knowing, learning, and performance. Every child is particular, which makes this approach to learning more accommodating to each individual child. Learning can take place anywhere, and every moment you’re with a child can and will be a teaching moment.

I always encourage our families to get involved with your child and our class. The door is always open for you to come in and join our class, so come by and get to know all of us! Here in the preschool class, we admire visitors and guests.
