Meet the DCDC West Staff!

Hello, my name is Jennifer McLain, and I have recently become a Master Teacher with Delaware Child Development Center at the Bartlesville West location. I have enjoyed working in child care for 14 years. I am very excited to be working here at DCDC West; I love working with children and watching how their minds work as they grow.

Hello, my name is Renae Barnett. Although I was born in Oklahoma City, I have spent most of my life in Bartlesville. I attended school at Oak Park Elementary, Central Jr. High, and Bartlesville High School, graduating in May of 1983. I started my college education at NSU right out of high school. My desire, even then, was to become a school teacher and help students become the best they could be. Due to life circumstances, such as marriage and children of my own, I had to put my education on hold. As my children were growing up, I worked at Oak Park School as an aid for before and after school care. I also spent many years as a teacher for Mothers Day Out at Dewey First Christian Church. I volunteered as a Sunday school teacher, youth group leader, and children's church teacher.

In August of 2012, I was able to go back to college, and in December of 2016, I graduated from Oklahoma Wesleyan University with a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.

I taught one amazing term at Cookson Hills School with 3rd and 4th graders and have now been with Delaware Child Development since April of 2018, as an assistant teacher and a Master Teacher in the Bartlesville facilities. I believe that children need a strong foundation in order to become successful adults. If children have support from their family as well as their teachers, they will be on the road to success for life.

Hello, my name is Mollie Sanders. I have been with Delaware Child Development for over a year now, and I have gained an abundance of knowledge from my co-workers and directors. As I am transitioning from being an Assistant Teacher to a Master Teacher, I am excited to put what I have learned into my own classroom. I am fortunate to have this opportunity and thrilled to see my teaching style flourish as I take this next step of my career.
