Family Child Care Home - Owasso

Hello Parents!

As you are all aware, we experienced an actual tornado warning last month! Our children were ready and cooperated well. We practice our drills once a month in order for us to get an idea of what to do, where to go, and how to react. The purpose of practicing our drills monthly is to make our children aware of the possibilities and to teach them to not be afraid in case of an emergency. If anyone has any questions about our procedures, please ask!

It has started to get chilly outside, so please provide your child with a warm sweater or jacket as we will continue to do our outdoor group experiences. We do have a weather chart posted on our information wall that indicates when it is too cold to play outside. Outside play is the children’s favorite time of the day, so it is very important that we continue to go out as we also use this time to learn and even do our indoor group experiences.

Keep an eye out for our centers' closing days and parent conferences; the days are posted on our bulletin board. Sign-up sheets will posted up soon!
