Ms Tuyet's Class - Preschool
Hello, November!
This year has been flying by, but we have been able to make many memories throughout these last few months. In October, we spent time gaining an understanding of why the leaves change colors. The children enjoyed finding the various colored leaves while outside and bringing them in to investigate the changes in the leaves. We were also able to work together to make homemade applesauce by cutting our apples into small pieces and cooking them in a crock pot. I wanted to say thank you for helping to participate in our Halloween party, and I know the children really enjoyed dressing up and celebrating with each other.
In the month of November, we will be talking a lot about what it means to be grateful. I think it’s important for the children to see the many blessings they have in their lives. Being grateful for what they have helps the children to be more compassionate for those around them. I would love to encourage our families to explore the topic of being grateful while at home as well.
With the weather constantly changing, I would love to ask if you can bring in a jacket for the children to leave in the classroom. This will stay in their cubbies for the days when it is cold and we still go outside.
