Ms Tuyet's Class - Preschool
Hello, Preschool Families! Last month we ended up switching things up, and the kids got to do various science experiments. They loved doing any experiment that involved baking soda and vinegar. In the eyes of a child, watching the chemical reaction gets them excited, so we used those ingredients a lot during the month of September. We hope that the children encouraged our families to try these experiments at home. We have finally made it to October, and fall has already begun. We will be doing various activities learning about leaves, farm animals, pumpkins, and apples. The children will have a better understanding of why the leaves change color and fall off the trees. We will be exploring the inside of a pumpkin and tasting pumpkin seeds. This is a fun experience that involves all five of our senses. I would love to encourage our families to explore the inside of a pumpkin at home, too, and maybe you can even make a pumpkin pie. For the week that we will be learning about apples, the children will work together to slice some apples in a crockpot to make our very own apple sauce. We hope to get to share these experiences with our families. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to reach out. Hope you have a wonderful October! Ms. Tuyet and Ms. Pam Ivy Academy West Preschool
