Ms Tuyet's Class - Preschool 2

Hello, Preschool 2 Families,

I am very excited to welcome our new group of children into the class. The last two weeks of September was spent getting to know each child, and I can’t wait to continue to build a lasting bond with your child.

For the month of October, we will be learning about Apples and Pumpkins. We will dive into understanding how they grow and where we can find them. The children have the chance to become chefs as we work together to cut up some apples to make our own apple sauce. Then we will get the opportunity to dissect a pumpkin by pulling the insides out. This is a great sensory activity where the children will use our five senses to describe how we feel, what we smell, what we taste, what we hear, and what we see while we explore the inside of the pumpkin.

We will be having a Halloween party for the children on Friday, October 30th. The children will have the opportunity to wear their costumes all day if they would like to.
