Ms Nikki's Class - Early Preschool

It has been a crazy beginning to our New Year, but we must keep moving on. So, as we enter March, we will be moving to a new study, Social Studies. The focus will be people and how they live and the environment that they live in., Social studies is the study of people and the ways they relate to others and their culture. Our everyday experiences provide the foundation for learning. I will build upon the children’s interest and introduce them to other places, traditions, and culture. We will work on a self-portrait to help them better understand our differences and will help the children understand their family structure. We will all be telling stories about the way their family structure is and how it is different.
