Ms Nikki's Class - Early Preschool

Hello, Families!

We have had some new friends come into our classroom. We are excited for them to join us, but we are also sad to have lost some of our older kids that have moved up to the Preschool classroom. Changes can be difficult, but our kids are adjusting well.

As you know, it is getting cold outside, so please make sure that the children have coats, hats, and gloves since we will be going outside for at least 15 to 20 minutes daily. Children love the outdoors, and we want to make sure that they stay warm.

This month we are studying our letters and recognizing the letters in our names. I will be sending home worksheets for them to practice these at home. With this study, we will be using expressive speech and working on vocabulary to help the children express their needs, thoughts, and interests using gestures, sounds, or words.
