Welcome to our blog!

First, we would like to wish you all a Happy New Year! We hope you have enjoyed the first month in because we have been having fun and getting pumped up talking about hearts, Valentine's Day, and the feelings of friendship. We are excited to learn the meaning of being together with someone you can rely on and someone who encourages you to make the right decisions and follow rules. We will be discussing how we can help to achieve the elements of friendship by being kind, honest, and having fun. Although we all know it takes time to make friends, in preschool it is all about sharing, patience, and social skills.

We have been reading Today I Feel Silly and taking turns telling how we are feeling. The children are learning to communicate well and can show it on their faces. For the second part of February, we will be studying dental health. We will not be having a dental hygienist come in this year like we did in the past, but we will still be discussing maintaining good oral health. Don't be surprised if your child comes home inspecting your teeth! They love to brush and will be receiving new toothbrushes during this week to take home!

I would also like to say thank you to my parents for 100% participation during the Parent Teacher Conferences! I know it's a busy time for you all, but it shows how much you care about the learning aspect of your child's education and achievements. You are amazing, and without your support, I couldn't be successful!
