Ms Debra's Class - Toddler 2

Hello, Parents!

It is hard to believe December is here already. This time of year tends to be busy for us all with the excitement and activities of the holiday season. Though this year might look and feel a little different because of COVID, we can still have fun and celebrate with our families.

At school we are going to be using our creativity in the month of December. We will be having pretend picnics and taking care of babies. We will paint in creative ways such as using kitchen utensils and bows to paint with. The kids will decorate paper to make a cardboard box sleigh to play with, and we will make Christmas inspired art. If we get snow, we plan on bringing some in for the kids to paint and play with. We will have colored ice and shaving cream in our sensory table and much more. Here is an article on the Zero to Three website about play that you can look up to learn a little more about the importance of play for young children: CLICK HERE
