Ms Chauntel & Ms Terreka's Class - Toddler 2

Hello, Families!

Man, it has been hot out there! I think I am ready for cooler weather. I hope you all have been able to stay healthy and safe despite the many challenges that have been thrown our way this year so far. We are in this together!

In August, we started exploring outdoors and nature. As most of you know, we have our new playground, and the children are loving it! We have been utilizing our new playground as much as possible. We have been building castles with blocks, pretending we are on a fast train with our bikes, going on bug hunts, and building sandcastles in our lovely sand box that so many of your children love and enjoy. They pretty much bring the sand box home with them on their clothes and in their hair!

In September, we are going to talk about colors. There are so many different colors around us every single day, and I think it is important for the children to start being aware of the things that are around them and the many different colors in our world every day! We are going to talk about the colors during group time, we are going to read books about colors, and we are going to talk about the colors on our clothes and do different color activities.
