Ms Chauntel & Ms Terreka's Class - Toddler 2

Hello, Toddler 2 Families! I hope you are enjoying these sunny days, but I also hope you are staying cool.

In July, we started to work on and strengthen our fine motor skills. We did activities such as lacing beads and using tweezers to pinch and grab Pom Pom balls in the sensory table. We are constantly using our hands for many things that we do throughout the day. It is amazing to see how quickly children learn and grasp these concepts.

In August, we are going to focus on nature and outdoors. The children are really interested in bugs, insects, and birds right now. We had the idea – why not turn the insects into a learning experience for them? We are going to talk about the different habitats where bugs and birds live and what different things they might eat. We are going to follow the children's interests while helping them learn some awesome new information!

Play is the highest form of research.”- Albert Einstein
