Ms Becky's Class - Toddler 3

Dear Parents,

We have been having an awesome Fall so far! We ended last October with a Halloween party that included Jack-O-Lantern carving, costumes, and lots of Fall fun. This past month, we have focused on Friendship, Kindness, Turkeys, and Thanksgiving. We talked about what it means to be a friend and have encouraged the children to make friends with children all throughout our center, not just the children in our class. We also learned about kindness and discussed simple ways that we can show kindness to everyone. Small kindnesses that we may think of as insignificant can be very important to someone else.

The children really enjoyed our time spent learning about turkeys. We even made turkey handprints as a gift for Mom and Dad. They really enjoyed getting messy and having their hands painted. We ended the month learning about Thanksgiving and what it means to be thankful. In December, we will learn about Gingerbread, Winter, Reindeer, and Christmas.
