Ms Anita's Class - Toddler 1

Last month in T1 we focused on building relationships with others. The children had many opportunities to parallel play while building with blocks. In dramatic center, we encouraged the children to play restaurant. During large group time, we introduced songs to help the children interact with one another. For example, shaking each other’s hands or giving a friend a hug. At pick up times, we encouraged the children to also say goodbye to their friends.

This month we will focus on using our creative skills and implementing it in our classroom activities. We also will be making different kinds of music with different items such as pots and pans, shakers, drums, and much more. During art exploration, I will be playing different kinds of music as the children explore the paint in the different materials we will be using.
