Ms Amanda's Class - Toddler C

Due to the interest the children have shown in discussing and identifying new vocabulary and communication skills, I will continue to build on the children’s vocabulary and language skills. We will specifically be focusing on emotions to help work on social and emotional skills within the classroom. I will be teaching both oral language of the vocabulary as well as sign language for my non-verbal children. However, with my non-verbal children I will also be encouraging the oral language as well. Being able to not only communicate but also being able to convey emotions appropriately will help the children within my classroom to work together and solve social and emotional issues that may arise between the children and their peers.
