Ms Kaitlyn's Class - Toddler B

This month we will continue to focus on shapes as well as adding numbers 1-4. We will start with the number one and add in a new number each week. Working on being able to count objects around us will be our main goal, but we will also try to recognize the numeral. While in the indoor classroom and the outdoor classroom, we will be finding and naming different shapes as well as counting anything we can. The standards we will be working on this month will be Mathematical Standards 2 and 3.

STANDARD 2

Spatial Awareness/Geometry: Children become aware of themselves in relation to objects and structures around them.

STANDARD 3

Number Sense: The child will begin to develop an awareness of quantity.
