Light at the End of the Tunnel?
Many providers are reopening to allow parents to go back to work. With reopening, we want to be cautious about cleaning and chemicals around the children. Here is an article about safe cleaning. If you are reopening and are requiring your teachers to wear a mask for safety, we want to suggest taking a picture of your teachers with and without their masks on. Sending these pictures to parents, allows the parents to talk to their child about their teachers being safe and anticipating the teacher with the mask on when they arrive back at child care.
July is our target month to begin training and technical assistance. If you are needing training hours before July, please visit the okregistry. CECPD has been great with offering free trainings for providers. If you are needing help in the classroom before July, please contact your specialist. They may be able to give resources and tips to help until July. If you would like to set up training or technical assistance for you or your facility, please contact your R&R Specialist.
A survey is still being sent out every Monday; it has 5 easy fast questions to fill out. This survey can be done before or after children are in your care and takes less than 5 minutes to complete.
We are also in our 2nd complete update. If you have not filled out the complete update survey, please click the survey link in the newsletter. We have been trying to call and do the complete update; if you have gotten a message, please return our call or send us a text.
