Letter from the Director!

Dear Parents,

Parent Teacher Conferences are coming up soon—March 9-13th. We are required to have 100% participation for this conference. The purpose of these conferences is to celebrate milestones and to set goals with your child's teacher.

Soon you will see a sign-up sheet hanging outside the entry door of your child’s classroom. This sign-up sheet will allow you to sign-up for a date and time during the evening that works for you. Each conference will only last about 15 minutes. Parents with two children at the center may sign up for times that are back to back if possible; teachers will make every effort to work with your schedule.

During the conference you can expect to be informed by your child’s Master Teacher of your child’s accomplishments, and also, you and the teacher will set goals for your child’s learning. This is a good time to ask questions and share any concerns about your child you may have. The Master Teacher will also present your current emergency contact sheet for your review. Please use this opportunity to make any changes needed. You may hand write on the sheet any address, phone number, or contact change.

At the end of the conference, you will be provided with some fun activity ideas to do with your child at home to support specific learning needs for your child(ren).
