Ms Nikki's Class - Early Preschool

Hello!

We have been working on recognizing our letter names and writing the first letter of our names in sand. Also, we played lots of games during this time like "what letter does that start with?”.

We will be revisiting our letters and name recognition in the next few weeks as our children are doing very well with this.

As we move on to February, we will also be learning more about our moods and emotions as we talk about what makes us happy, sad, scared, proud, and angry. This is going to help us work on our social emotional development skills. We will explore these by reading about new emotions, peer conflict resolution, practicing good citizenship, and what it means to be a good friend.

Standard 1: The Child participates in activities to develop the skills necessary for working and interacting with others.
