Ms KK's Class - Early Preschool 1

Greetings from EPS 1!

We are in full swing of the eleventh month of the year, and it's hard to believe that the year 2020 is right around the corner! So many fun things are occurring, and I can't begin to tell you the fun we are having! We have watched the leaves change from green to brown to orange and red, and of course made time for Pumpkin carving and playing outside—watching birds fly overhead looking for a warmer place to stay. So much fun goes into one day of school!

After our visit to the Pumpkin Patch, we have had many conversations about where pumpkins really come from and how some are orange and some are different colors. These children are so fun. Their imaginations soar with excitement.

For the month of November, we are planning to discuss being thankful and what that means to us. We will be discussing family traditions and looking forward to spending the Thanksgiving holiday with our loved ones. We will be making a special keepsake for parents, and we are excited!

Did you know that during the month of November, you may experience Indian Summer the 11th-20th? If it doesn't happen then, more than likely it won't happen at all. Also, there are a lot of home remedies to stay healthy during the cold winter months. Rose Hip Tea, Ginger Root, and Garlic are just a few. Check them out!

PS. If you know someone with a birthday this month, the birthstone is Topaz and this makes a perfect gift!

We wish your family a joyous Thanksgiving, and if you have time, please stop in and say “Hello!”
