Hello, Preschool 2 families!
The month of October included a lot of exploring experiences for the children. The children learned about the leaves changing, and we used teamwork to make our own apple sauce by cutting the apples into smaller pieces. The children also got to dissect the inside of a pumpkin by pulling out all the seeds, and we even got to try pumpkin seeds after they were baked in the oven.
I want to thank all the parents and family members who helped participate in our Halloween party. The children really enjoyed dressing up and showing off their costumes to their classmates.
For the month of November, we will be talking about friendship and promoting positive relationships with each other. The children will be given opportunities to learn and demonstrate how to be kind to their classmates. We will also have chances to help each other out when in need of assistance. Learning how to interact in a positive way towards each other is an important milestone for the children. I would like to encourage our families to continue the learning process at home by discussing the ways that we can be better friends to each other.
We will also be having a family Thanksgiving meal that I would love to invite our families to. We will be providing a Thanksgiving meal in the Preschool 2 classroom, and anyone is invited. There will be a sign-up list on the door when the day gets closer.
As always, the children love having visitors; so if you would like to come visit us to read a book, eat a meal, or even play with us, we would love to have you!
