Hello, Parents!

To begin, I would like to ask you to make sure your child’s cubby is stocked with weather appropriate clothing.

Next, I am so excited to say that we are going to start working on our pencil grip to make controlled lines on our papers. This will slowly turn into our letters and more. The children have done so well with name and letter recognition, and I know they are ready for the next step. The ELG’S that we will work on are: Language Arts - Standard Three - Print Awareness – “The child understands the characteristics of written language”. Language Arts - Standard Nine – “Writing Process - The child uses the writing process to expand on thoughts and feelings”.
