Ms Amanda & Ms Kim's Class - Toddler C

Children naturally learn with their hands, so that is why this month we will be focusing on fine motor skills. Fine motor skills are the building foundation for intellectual learning skills. Development of fine motor skills is vital for independence, self-confidence, and social skills. Unfortunately, with today's society and the dependence on technology and electronics, the advancement and development of fine motor skills is declining. I will be providing the children in our classroom with many fine motor activities this month to help in strengthening their small muscles and coordination. We will be practicing using utensils with all our meals. We will also practice with scooping and pouring different items in our sensory bin. I will also send home activities that you can do at home with your child.

Ms. Amanda, Ms. Tina, and Ms. Lindsey
