Ms Amanda's Class - Toddler C

I am very excited about officially being named Master Teacher in your child’s classroom, Toddler C! We are learning and growing so much everyday. I am so excited to be working alongside all my families and encouraging parent participation in the classroom. If you would ever like to volunteer to come and participate in an activity, please feel free to contact me. I am excited to be a part of your child’s education!

In the month of December, we will be focusing on "Pets" as the theme for our classroom. I encourage you to bring pictures of your child and their pets at home for this theme. I will be teaching your child the names of animals as well as the sign language for the pets.

I am going to be focusing on helping your child expand his/her vocabulary. While focusing on language and communication skills, it is always important to speak in complete sentences to your child. Also, you can elaborate on what words your child does say or sign. For example, if your child points to a cracker and says “cracker”, you may elaborate and say, “Would you like a cracker?” I will be sending home communication activities for you to practice at home as well.
