Ms McKenzie and Ms Amanda's Class - Toddler C

Age appropriate behavior: As some of you are unfortunately aware, biting can be a common occurrence in the classroom. This could be due to several reasons, but first and foremost it is an age appropriate behavior. I want to assure all parents that we (myself and Amanda) are taking all the precautions we can to ensure this is not the norm. This includes teething rings, raspberries, and extra close monitoring of the children who are more likely to bite or be bitten.

We are also working with your children on vocalizing their feelings to avoid conflict with peers. Children are allowed to have space of their own. Even at a young age, their personal boundaries are honored in our classroom. If you would like more information on this topic, feel free to let me know, and I can provide you with the materials and other information!

What we are learning: It's July and we are going to begin talking about everything ocean related! We will be discussing anything that has to do with the ocean, such as ocean life, ocean transportation, the beautiful colors of the ocean, waves, and so much more!
