Ms Bailee's Class - Early Preschool 1

Dear Parents,

We have a small change to our classroom schedule. In efforts to avoid the high temperatures outside, we will be doing our large group and circle time in the afternoon instead of in the morning. We will be spending the majority of our morning outdoors while it is cooler and our playground has the most shade. Pictures will still be posted of our afternoon play before the children are checked out. Lunch and nap times will, of course, remain the same, just like the rest of the center. Thank you for your understanding.

Outdoors we will continue our lesson plans. Did you know that our outdoor space is in fact an outdoor classroom? All of the interest areas that we have inside, often called “Centers”, are also available for the children outdoors. Extending learning outside promotes the respect of nature, cooperation of peers, and development of gross motor skills. Please be sure to dress your child appropriately for the weather as we do spend 120 minutes outdoors each day.
