Ms KK’s Class—Early Preschool
Happy Spring!
As Winter came to an end, we were sad to hear we probably wouldn’t get to play in snow. However, the warmer days have been amazing for exploring nature and feeling the Sunshine once again! Before long, we will be turning on our water feature for the season, and we are excited about that!
The EPS class is currently in the process of closing our study on roads. These children have done amazing learning about road conditions, road and traffic safety, what the different colored lights mean on a traffic signal, and if it’s possible to go to work or school without a road.
We also enjoyed celebrating the life of Dr. Seuss! We had some special guests read to us, and the children were very excited. Their favorite story by Dr. Seuss is “Cat in the Hat.” We can’t wait until next year to do it again!
In April we will be studying about Bread. This will include making our own bread, visiting a bakery, and sampling different types of breads. The children will have the opportunity to bring a slice of their favorite bread and share a taste with their friends. I’m excited to sample some new breads!
As Easter is on April 1st this year, we had our annual egg hunt on Friday, March 23rd. The children were in amazement as they colored eggs and watched them become their very own creation. They were counting down the days until they could take their basket and find eggs outside. What joy children bring to us!
Please feel free to learn with us anytime. We would love to share our day with you! --Ms. KK
