Ms Sarah & Ms Kelsey's Class - Toddler B

The Very Hungry Caterpillar We have been learning about The Very Hungry Caterpillar this month. Your children have really enjoyed reading the book, creating our own caterpillar, sun, and a “nice green leaf”.

The activity they enjoyed the most was tasting some of the various foods that the very hungry caterpillar ate during his weeklong journey. The children were able to try apples, pears, plums, strawberries, oranges, dill pickles, and watermelon.

All of the children enjoyed tasting the food, but some of their favorites were: Aadyn - Apples Camden - Apples & Pears Steven - Oranges Millie - Strawberries Brax - Watermelon Swayzee - Watermelon & Apples Elaina - Everything

We are still working hard on potty training, with several of the kids being almost completely “potty trained!” As we continue to work on potty training with all children, please remember to dress your child in loose fitting clothes that are easy for your child to put on, pull up, & take off on their own (example: sweatpants or leggings). Dressing and undressing are very important self-help skills for children to learn; it helps them understand that they can be independent and do it themselves!
