Dear Friend,
Sunday, September 13th is Grandparents Day, and you can celebrate it by having your children or the children in your care do something to honor their grandparents! Suggest something they can do with them or make for them. If the children don't have grandparents, tell them how they could "adopt a grandparent", maybe a neighbor or friend whose grandchildren aren't living close or maybe don't have any grandchildren at all.
It is also a time that you can make grandparents aware of the impact of their involvement and influence to affect policies about early childhood issues. It is a call to action for grandparents and people of all ages to join together and advocate on behalf of America's future: our children and youth!
