Parent Information - Our programs provide parents with the knowledge and resources they need to give them and their child the best possible start for healthy family development. Services are targeted to parents of children prenatal to 6 years of age.

Home Visits - The Family Specialists and nurses are trained early childhood professionals who will visit you in your home and offer caring, understanding, support and information about a wide array of services available to you as a parent.

Development Screenings - We will also track your child’s development and offer you consultations with the various specialists available at the Health Department should you need their services. These specialists include speech/language pathologist, child guidance specialists, audiologists, psychologists and other child health professionals.

Parent Education Support Groups - Our programs have collaborated with several agencies in the community to offer parent education/support personalized toward your individual parenting needs. Topics may include information about stages of pregnancy, caring for your newborn, child development, discipline, getting your child to sleep, feeding issues, family changes, etc. Developmental toys are also provided as part of the program. Books, tapes, videos and pamphlets are available from the Family Resource Lending Library.

It's All FREE - Services are provided free to you by funding obtained through the state of Oklahoma. Oklahoma legislators know how important our children and parents are and they want to give them the best possible foundation for a bright and happy future.
