Caney Early Care and Education Center Director:
The Delaware Child Development Program (DCD) is accepting applications for Site Director of the Caney Early Care and Education Center in Caney, KS. Duties include direct management of the center, staff, curriculum, and purchase requisitions. Potential candidates must have a BS in Early Childhood or related degree with experience in management of staff and business planning. Strong work ethics are a must. The right person will be able to work with parents, staff, and the community in a positive manner. Must be proficient in computer use. The DCD is a non-profit organization based in Bartlesville and provides services in eleven counties in Oklahoma and two counties in Kansas. Staff is committed to quality programming in all areas of their work which includes: direct operation of three child development centers, child care resource and referral, child nutrition, Success By Six/ Smart Start Bartlesville, Healthy Families and Babies, and tribal child care subsidy. Continuing education/training is required; applicant must be able to travel occasionally. The position is a full-time, salaried position offering vacation and sick leave, paid medical and life insurance and an employer sponsored retirement plan. Salary is commensurate with education, experience and the ability to manage the position. Position is open until May 16th. Relocation expenses may be considered.
